Cupcake Parties & Baking Classes at My Leeds Bakery
I started baking cakes with my Mum at an early age, and I've loved it ever since. So there's nothing I love more than sharing that with other people, which is exactly why I run cupcake parties and baking classes here at my bakery in Kirkstall.
Here's everything you need to know.
Cupcake decorating parties
We love to run parties! My cupcake decorating parties are held here at the bakery in LS4 and last around an hour and a half, and everyone leaves with 6 cupcakes they've decorated themselves.
You choose the theme and flavours: princess, mermaid, superhero, you name it, we can do it! All the aprons, decorations and tools are supplied, so all you need is the table. They're fun and social for children of all ages, and a brilliant alternative to a soft play birthday. The best bit? Watching everyone's faces when they see what they've made, and then watching them eat it! And with 6 cupcakes each to take home, there's a treat for later too (if they last that long).
Group baking classes for grown-ups too
OK, so I'm not saying you're going to take a rocket ship home, but I can start you on your journey to creating some wonderful cakes! My group baking classes are booked in at the bakery and are perfect for kids' birthdays, hen parties, baby showers or just an afternoon of doing something a bit different with friends. The options and themes are endless. Everything you need is supplied, from aprons to decorations and tools, so all you need to bring is yourselves and a bit of enthusiasm. No experience needed, I promise!
One-to-one baking lessons
Ever fancied some decorating classes? Want to learn to bake better? My one-to-one classes are all about you. Whatever you'd like to learn, from a cupcake that actually rises to a proper Victoria sponge, the whole class is focused on it. Biscuits and bakes are my thing too!
One-to-one classes are priced on enquiry, starting at £80 for a 2 hour lesson, including all ingredients, and you (obviously) take your bakes home!
Can't make it to the bakery?
If you'd rather bake at home, my At Home Cake Mix comes in vanilla or chocolate. Just add your eggs and butter. It's great fun for a rainy weekend, and perfect for party bags or for a friend who likes to dabble in the kitchen. Speaking of party bags, my party bag cones come with pick 'n' mix or vegan sweets, all tied up and ready to go.
